CH Winter!!

Can't believe I'm this slow in posting this. Winter became Champion Winter on 15 February 2009! Here's his show career puppy to champion. All pictures by Kohler & Associates unless specified.

Very first point Very first point
Winter's very point in May 2007. The Friday before Memorial Day. Winter was barely 7 months.
Scaredy face Scaredy face
His very first reserve. This picture is one of my favorites because of his facial expression. Saturday before Memorial Day, 2007. Winter was barely 7 months.
First major First major
First big win (beat 13 other dogs). President's day 2008. Winter was almost 16 months old. He looks so young. This was a big win for me as a novice handler - it was in the VERY tough Denver shows.
Second big win Second big win
March 1, 2008 at big Arizona specialty. First time in the Open class (i.e., not in a puppy or adolescent class). I was so nervous and we showed first thing in the morning. He was an absolute idiot! Only two weeks after the First Major, but he looks so much more mature.
Third big win Third big win
In Greeley, Sunday before Labor Day, 2008. Judge wanted to see the dog as a picture and wouldn't let us touch them. That was my default way to show, as I was sure that I'd mess him up if I manually move his feet or tail. (This picture taken by Roberts Photography)
Finished! Finished!
President's Day 2009. A year after his first major. The major this day broke by one dog, but it didn't matter, he only needed the two points. I love this picture!!
