I'm still hoping he comes home safe, but knowing the wild animals in this neighborhood and the state of his collar (it's leather and was in good shape), I don't know how realistic that is.
This is Wizard:
This picture was taken about 3 years ago when he was three years old. He's got a lot more freckles now, especially in his ears, but this picture really shows the essence of Wizard - he's probably the sweetest cat I've ever known. Lowest critter on the totem pole here, but the sweetest and most friendly. The most accepting of strangers of my cats, too. He always wants to be on my lap or wrapped around me like a boa whenever I used the computer and he was with me throughout grad school, so I was on the computer a lot.
Some pictures of my dogs under the cut, all during baths, which is how I like to embarrass them. I smiled at them as they came out of the camera, so maybe posting them will cheer me a little.
2 August 2008: Summer says, "I said get the DRYER, Mom. NOT the camera!"
9 August 2008: Summer says to Winter, "Haha! You're getting a bath and I'm not! Ladi ladi lala!"
9 August 2008: Winter says, "This really isn't dignified. Look at me, I'm all soapy!"
(Summer got a bath right after Winter...)
