The current banes of my existance. Don't they just look so innocent?...
They've started fighting with each other (much worse than usual), hissing at me, occasionally forgetting where the litter box is, bringing down a curtain rod, opening the dog crate, and Thursday, accidentally causing a gas leak (at least that's the theory). The stove was off when I went to work, but when I came home nine hours later the stove was set on simmer. My stove will flow gas when the dial is turned, but won't light unless the dial is turned all the way. Thank goodness they didn't do that! I would have come home to a fire instead.
The nice part of this week was Sunday (the 21st, not today). Winter went to his first puppy match and took second in his class! So well behaved (what a surprise, given how he is in class (you never saw a more hyper puppy, nor one with a more piercing bark...I kept saying "Ouch!" instead of "Quiet").
I like my new frog and my new bed (except Wizard keeps stealing the bed and Mom keeps stealing the frog)...
Look, Mom, I dug my first hole! (There's a brick at the back...he doesn't dig in a straight line.)
No, Mom, I don't want to go inside. I'm perfectly happy out here!
See, aren't I just adorable?
And I even still have a clean side! I'm not dirty enough to go inside yet.
It was a long week and I didn't get much knitting done. A couple weeks ago, at knit group a few of us cast on for the Knit Picks Palette Fair Isle Cardigan. This is my first Fair Isle.

My progress on the sweater is slow...I haven't gotten into a rhythm yet with the sweater, so I'm going fairly slow. Here's what I've got so far...

Here's to a less eventful, less stressful week coming up! And happy birthday to my brother F and to
