Yet another month has flown by.
Winter was six months old on the 22nd of April. We went to a puppy match. He was an idiot there but had fun. We’re in obedience class right now. Winter’s definitely the most wired puppy of the bunch, but for the most part is actually really good at class - just have to figure out how to make him do commands without first coming up to me (I can tell Winter to sit from 6 feet away and he comes, plants his front feet on MY feet and then sits. For down, he lays across my feet.).
Winter‘s also becoming a little hunter. On Sunday during a thunderstorm, he caught a bunny (a baby or just pretty young). Today, during another thunderstorm, he caught another. He’s not going after the cats, though, thank goodness.
His first show is next Saturday (the 12th) Here are some pictures from April 22.

In knitting news, the Cabbage Patch Fair Isle Cardigan is moving along slowly, but steadily. Only two more motifs for the body.
I’ve gotten on a washcloth kick recently.
A simple basket weave cloth made from the remainders of two balls of Sugar’n Cream - Cool Breeze Ombre.
Garterlacs from Criminy Jickets.
The first was done with size 7 needles out of Lion Cotton - Basil. I added a crochet border around the edge. Liked the border, but felt the cloth was slightly too dense. So the second and third are made with size 8s. But, I forgot the border. Oops. The second is out of the same Lion Cotton as the first. The third is out of Peaches & Crème Fiesta Ombr - I think one is the most striking of the three.
