Confused and confused

I made another attempt at grafting/Kitchener tonight. It's inside out again, except for the first and last stitches. As far as I am aware, I don't twist my stitches...live stitches on the needle have the following structure: the yarn comes from the left, comes over the top of the needle, and goes off to the right. I have several sets of instructions and they actually all make sense to me, however it just isn't translating to my needles. I will get this, but until then, my inside out grafting will just be a design feature (and to tell you the truth, it doesn't bother me, as the grafting is still very neat). I would just like to be able to understand and apply the concept correctly.

And just a random question:
On a four lane road marked as in the pic below, if I'm the red square, do I or do I not stop for the school bus (the green rectangle)? I figured since there wasn't a raised median, I had to stop. I nearly got rear-ended by the guy behind me. He went around as did another guy, but another person stopped. There were no crosswalks in the vicinity. (Colorado law question)

School Bus question

The Colorado Driver's Manual has the following to say:

SCHOOL BUS: You must stop for a school bus that is stopped with its red lights flashing whether it is on your side of the road, the opposite side of the road, or at an intersection you are approaching.

You must remain stopped until the flashing red lights are no longer operating. Watch carefully for children near the school bus and children crossing the roadway before proceeding. You are not required to stop if the bus is traveling toward you on a roadway that is separated by a median or other physical barrier.

Does the center turn lane qualify as a "median or other physical barrier"?

Anyone want a female platy?

She's at it again. I spotted two, maybe three (I'm hoping I miscounted), new fish tonight. They are smaller than the size I normally spot them at - I must be getting good at spotting them. The only time I ever spot baby fish for the first time is when I either clean the tank or add water. I'm guessing the turbulence causes them to come out of hiding. Unfortunately, I can't not add water to the tank. Mama had to be pregnant when I did the tank move and obviously wasn't ultra stressed about it.

You know...when I kept fish before, I couldn't keep them alive for more than a couple weeks, much less more than a year.

nuts_mom, did you lose anymore fish?
