Finally made a few resolutions.

Actually let's call them goals. Resolutions are stereotypically broken.

1. Do my school assignments on time. (Don't procrastinate, it leads to panic attacks.)
2. Stick to my spending plan. (Money doesn't grow on trees and I really need to get out of debt.)
3. Lose 25 pounds. (Not everything I need to lose, but a realistic goal, given that I tend to gain while in school.)

"We're sorry..."

I attempted to use work's fax machine to fax my grade transcript to work's education group, so that I can have them pay for my school. Apparently, no can do.

"Your long distance service has been temporarily discontinued."

We are a big company and all of our projects run across multiple locations. So I'm kind of laughing at this. (I have 45 days to submit my grades, and have only used 9 of them so far, so this will be fixed in time for me to get reimbursed.)

Textbooks = Bye, bye $$

I get reimbursed up to $150 per course for books. For the coming quarter, I just spent $206 on books for two courses. One class uses one book, while the other has two. Unfortunately for me, the text for the class that has a single text was all of $30. Which means I have a $40 unanticipated expense ($26 for the book, $15 for tax). And with the way my budget is structured it comes out of grocery money. Ouch!
