Happily wrapped up in my knitting

I braved the cold this morning to attend knit group. I finished my first sock there:

First knitted sock

Particulars: Cascade 220 (colors 7803: magenta and 8505: white), size 4 DPNs, pattern from Sensational Knitted Socks by Charlene Schurch - Four Stitch Ribbed Pattern (Garter Rib).

It is quite warm and I really need to make the other soon. It's cold this week! Christy brought some more of her hand dyed yarn. I think she brought about 26 skeins, and left with about 8 to 10. Our group had a yarn feeding frenzy the instant she arrived. I bought two skeins of worsted weight Valley Flowers and two skeins of fingering weight Tempest. After knit group, lovely, enabler Christy decided to swing by the llama store, so of course I went. I got more Cascade 220, some Cascade Pastaza and some sock yarn whose manufacturer's name escapes me at the moment.

Your new sock looks awesome! I bet its cuddly warm from the cascade. Will you make some pastaza socks too?
Your link to "her hand dyed yarn" isn't working, where was that going to lead to? Yeah we sure had a feeding frenzy once our dealer came. TOK was so cute with the bunch on her lap, simultaneously looking into Anti's magazine and totally engulfed in fibery magic, I wish I would have had a camera for that Hallmark moment :)

I'll have to get more Pastaza, I only have one skein.

I fixed the link. Forgot the "http://". Oops.

And yes, we so needed a camera for TOK.
